About Us
The Eromit dogs are owned by Erin and Tim Lynes. Erin has been
involved with dogs for many years, including 10 years as a
competitive dog sled musher (1998 Canadian 6 Dog Oval Sled
Dog Champion, 1998 Canadian 4 Dog Champion and many
regional victories). She has trained dogs for a movie "Without
Malice" (2000), for obedience, competitive agility, tracking,
hunting and skijorring. Erin is certified in Canine Reproduction and
Canine Nutrition and has studied animal behavior at the University
level. She is skilled as a veterinary assistant and has worked with
rescue animals in a shelter and as a foster mom, and has
experience training many breeds. Tim is an avid hunter and
enjoys training dogs for practical hunting purposes and assists
with the puppy socialization and agility training while somehow
also holding down a 'real' job. Erin & Tim are members in good
standing of the Canadian Kennel Club, Agility Association of
Canada and the National Labrador Retriever Club. Eromit proudly
supports New Hope Dog Rescue, search and rescue volunteers
throughout Canada, and Ducks Unlimited.
Eromit is pronounced "Arrow-Mitt" and is a combination of Erin
and Tim's names. Their kennel was renamed and reserved with
the CKC in 2008 and existed for 12 years prior to that as "English
Kennels".

| Welcome to the Eromit Website! Our home is located on 40 acres near Quesnel, British Columbia and is officially known as "Eromit Acres". We raise only quality purebred Labradors from top field trial, hunt test and performance lines. Our breeding focus is for temperament, health, athleticism and natural hunting ability. Selectively bred black, yellow and chocolate puppies are born and grow up in our home - NOT a kennel environment- and each puppy undergoes our super-socialization program before leaving for their new families at 8 weeks of age. While most of them go on to hunting or pet homes, we specialize in Labs for working and competitive purposes - Eromit Labs have been trained in all venues including hunt tests, field trials, agility, obedience, flyball, herding, dog sledding, tracking, search and rescue, dock diving, therapy work, and some even 'acted' in a movie! Our Labs are Canadian Kennel Club registered and are sold with a 30 month health guarantee, puppy starter kit, and titling incentives. Breeding stock are OFA, OVC or WCVM hip and elbow certified, CERF cleared and are tested for EIC, CNM, prcd-PRA and RD/OSD. We occasionally have older trained dogs for sale. Shipping is available to approved homes. |
