Meet the Trainer
Kinderdoggin holds small group classes taught primarily by Erin English. Erin has been involved
with dogs for many years. Her involvement began with her families Labrador Retrievers and
Alaskan Huskies. She has been a part of all aspects of raising, training, and competing with her
families dogs and in 1997, began breeding her own Labrador Retrievers. Currently, Erin competes
with her Labs in Agility and hunts them in the fall. Erin also participates in all-breed dog rescue,
working with local agencies to help find permanent homes for stray and abandoned dogs, cats,
and small animals.
Erin has benefited from experiences with a variety of dog trainers and over the years has come to
learn a multitude of training methods. She believes that the use of positive-reinforcements is the
most effective technique, and helps her students master the skills of force-free, friendly dog
training. Her areas of expertise include puppy training, family dog obedience, and dog agility
training, and Erin continually participates in research and training to improve her animal handling
skill set.
