| How to tell newborn puppies apart: You probably won't notice it in the photos, but puppies of the same color and sex are individually marked on the tips of their tails with a different color of non-toxic paints. In a few weeks we will be able to tell them apart without the color coding but for now it helps us to keep track of who's who for weight gain, health records, etc. Eventually, we give them all nicknames so that we have a way to address them until their new families pick out a permanent call name. |
